RoadRunner Review: PK/K Recognition

Principal’s Message:

Today was so great! It was wonderful to walk into the weekend moving towards Phase II. Knowing that it puts us one step closer to spending time together. We got a little taste of that with our PK/K Recognition today where our Pre-Kindergarteners and Kindergarteners were celebrated for rocking their year. A special thank you to Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Hager for planning a joyful celebration and taking such good care of our Pre-Kindergarteners and Kindergarteners this year!

Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.

— Psalm 95:1-2

Our Nation:

As an educational institution it is our duty, our obligation to acknowledge and recognize when we are living during a time of national upheaval. There are lessons to be learned and ways we can expand our minds. There are multiple opinions in regards to Covid-19, there are multiple opinions in regards to the “Black Life Matters” protests. It is imperative that we do not shy away from these topics but recognize that we can operate from a place of compassion, thoughtfulness, and understanding of our fellow humans. I encourage you to use this specific time in history to have hard, honest, age-appropriate conversations with your children.

Here are some of the resources my family is using at this present time:
