RoadRunner Review: RAIN
Principal’s Message:
Blessed to be able to be writing this while looking outside my office window while rain clears our neck of the woods. I know this past week and a half gave everyone an added layer of stress. We adjusted here at ECA and had a partial week of online school and I think it went relatively well, although we are still adjusting and tweaking and doing our best to improve your child’s online experience! Thank you to those of you that replied to our first week survey, lots of great ideas that we are using to adjust and support our learners and families.
I hope you all had a minute to go outside today and take a deep breath. I hope you had a minute to feel deep gratitude while not ignoring the realities of our present times. I am especially moved by this today:
44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
Matthew 5:44-45
God’s blessings are not limited to those that we see “fit” to receive them. God’s blessings are bestowed upon His creation. What an important reminder to us in how we can thoughtfully and gracefully interact in a world going through significant growing pains.

Covid-19:
It appears that there is a recent spike of cases in our county. At present, we are still cleared to keep our in-person option open, but we wanted to let our families know that if we get past 5% we will have to limit what we can provide on campus. We are looking at various options to respond to this within our county’s safety guidelines.
