I loved hearing Amanda Gorman command the stage at the Presidential Inauguration. Her voice—clear, cogent, hopeful—reminded me why I am an educator—the most promising investment for our futures is the next generation. Announcements:

  • MAP Testing from February 1-February 4. If you would like more information about MAP testing, check out the NWEA website.

    • Co-op students planning to test in person should email cdunks@emeraldchristianacademy.com.

    • Co-op students planning to test online MUST have an adult present with a separate device during testing times. We will send out detailed information on how to plan for home testing in the next few days.

Covid-19:

  • If you are part of our ECA community we ask that you follow recommended guidelines: Masking, Physical Distancing, any further risk reduction measures that you are able to incorporate into your lives. Do your part in protecting our on-campus care.

  • Are you unsure about your child’s symptoms? Do you want some guidance on whether they should be at school or stay home or get a Covid test? Call Lane County’s Non-Emergency Call Center line for Covid-19 at 541-682-1380

  • At present we are unable to provide Bus service for our families. The cohort considerations on campus cannot be maintained on the bus. Please contact us at the main office if you need childcare outside of the 7:45 am-4:00 pm window.
