Principal’s Message:

Please join me in extending a warm welcome to the newest member of the ECA team, Cali Dunks. Mrs. Dunks joins her two kids Riley and Bailey this year and we are excited that she will be filling in Miss Hewlett’s position at the front office. Several of you have already met Mrs. Dunks or have received communication from her, I ask that you continue to welcome Mrs. Dunks with open arms, encouragement and support during this truly upside down Covid year! I am personally already very grateful to Mrs. Dunks for stepping in and keeping things running smoothly.

As we focus on the little and big things we can truly be grateful for during an exceptionally hard season, I hope that the practice of gratitude in turn fills you with hope and an extra dose of joy.

Announcements:

  • We are working to get our picture retake day confirmed. We are looking at December 9. Will email parents when that date is set in stone!

  • Our students are talented in so many different areas and I love when we get to see them contribute their talents and skills to others. This holiday season consider these contests that your learner could participate in!

Covid-19:

  • Oregon’s 2-week freeze does not impact any of the services we are currently offering at ECA. However, the Oregon Dept. of Education did send out a form letter to remind our staff and students about what they might need to take into consideration regarding traveling and how that might impact what decisions families make when returning to campus. Please take a minute and review this important communication from the ODE.
