Little Prayers

Principal’s Message:

Ya’ll, I don’t know about you…
but a day at the beach,
a sunny Monday,
crafts that go well,
story time that makes everyone laugh,
an encouraging text,
a complete to-do list,
time with friends,
the buzz of a lawnmower,
math problems that make sense,
a refreshing glass of water…

All of these things feel like little prayers. Sometimes when things seem really rough, these little tidbits of gratitude are what we can muster. I am reminded of Romans 8:26 and 27—

26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.”

What does your list of wordless prayers look like?
