Lighthouse — Emerald Christian Academy

Principal’s Message:

When I was a kid my dad welcomed the Sabbath with The Heritage Singers playing. It became an automatic signal in my brain that we were entering into winding down for the week and to this day when I hear any of their songs—my brain starts disengaging from productivity…so I almost cannot listen to them if I need to accomplish something.

Having said that, it is interesting to see the songs that my kids listen to that set a tone for them. I thought I’d share both of these “lighthouse” songs- I hope they set the tone for you this weekend to refocus your energy, restore your soul, and remember how very thoughtfully created you were by a loving God.

What our learners are up to:

Enrichment Friday with Mr. Thorp (Mrs. Thorp’s father-in-law)! Our learners got to see a organic, cucumber greenhouse in British Columbia and plant some cucumber starts at home!
